How to Conquer the Fear of Talking To People About Your Business
Have you ever worried about “what to say” to people about your business? How will you connect? What will you say to start the conversation?
If you are building a Network Marketing business you will need to talk to people. For many business owners, you will also need to get over the fear of talking to people about your business in order to have it grow. Most likely, you got into Network Marketing because you were attracted to the money and time freedom that this incredible industry offers. Yet, when it comes to talking to people and sharing this awesome opportunity, a lot of business owners clam up and are afraid to talk to people.
How did you meet your best friend? Before you developed a friendship with them you didn’t know them at all. You had to talk to them at some point to determine that you had like interests, etc! So why are you fearful of making some new friends who need what you have and probably have like interests (time and money freedom)? There are tons of people out in the marketplace who want what you have to offer, and are probably praying for an opportunity to come their way! You are the solution to their needs, wants, and desires!

Striking up conversations with people can be simpler than you think!The #1 thing people feel comfortable talking about is themselves. And the easiest thing to do in conversation is ask questions. I ask people things like: “Where are you from? Do you have kids? What do you do? Do you love what you do?” etc. The above video shares how to bring these questions into conversation naturally.
Think about it this way: Larry King is the “King of Questions”. He made a really great living asking people questions and interviewing them. We do the same thing as professional networkers: we make a great living getting to know others, and mastering the art of networking—one question at a time
So get out there—accept that invitation to the networking event. Go and network (alone!) Ask a lot of questions, learn to master the art of great conversation (with questions) and see where it will lead! Be the King (or Queen) of Questions! That’s how you’ll find your “Aces”!
